3M?Ö Scotchfil?Ö Electrical Insulation Putty is a putty-like electrical grade compound in tape form. It is a splice insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to 80??C (176??F) when overwrapped with either 3M?Ö Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape or 3M?Ö Super 88?Ö Vinyl Electrical Tape. 3M?Ö Scotchfil?Ö Electrical Insulation Putty can be wrapped, stretched or moulded around irregular shapes for quick, smooth insulation build-up. Use 3M?Ö Scotchfil?Ö Putty to insulate connections up to 600 volts and to round out high-voltage connections to gear, smooth bus bar irregularities and make a moisture seal at ground wire exits in high-voltage splices.
