The Dormer A012 Jobber Length, Tin Tipped, Split-Point Round Shank Drill Bit Made Of High Speed Steel With An Uncoated (Bright) Finish Is Suitable For Drilling To a Depth Up To Four Times The Diameter Of The Drill.  Good For Portable or Machine Drilling.  The Shank Diameter Is The Same As The Drill Size. It Was Designed For Drilling Holes Into A Wide Variety Of Metals and Synthetic Materials With The Best Performance In Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminum Magnesium, and Synthetic Materials.  The A012 Series Has a Type N Flute Form With a Regular Helix Angle Of 21 to 34 Degrees With a Special Dormer PS Point Geometry Which Offer Easier Workpiece Penetration, Improved Hole Size, and Accurate Centering When Starting The Hole.   The Tin Finish Is a Gold Coloured, Ceramic Coating That Combines Hardness and Low Friction To Extend Cutting Tool Life and Permit Faster Cutting Speeds Than With Uncoated Tools.
